A Museum Quality, Southern American, 16th-17th century red velvet and satin panel with raised embroidery, in gilt-silver thread, depicting Saint Stephen, the venerated first martyr of Christianity.
Probably once forming part of an orphrey band from a chasuble. In a later early 20th century wood frame.
